Have you ever noticed how some English speakers seem to really love\u00a0using the word\u00a0love<\/em>?\u00a0From „I love that dress!“ to\u00a0„Don’t you just love hot yoga?“ or even a casual „I love you,“ Americans\u00a0seem to have little to no reservations when it comes using this\u00a0notorious\u00a0four-letter verb.<\/p>\n

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, an interesting article from The Atlantic<\/em>\u00a0asks the question, „Do Americans say I love you too much?“\u00a0and compares\u00a0how Americans liberally pepper our\u00a0speech with this platitude as compared to how the\u00a0L-word is used in other languages and cultures.<\/p>\n
